Add your timeline

Choose your city and school, then add each class with its academic year, for example Class 5, 2012 to 2013.

Every other timeline is compared at the exact school, class and year level.

Classmates appear as matches. Start a conversation in your private classroom chat.

Step by step

1. Sign in with Google

You sign in with your Google account, so there is no new password to remember. You must be at least 18 years old and accept the Terms and Privacy Policy.

2. Build your timeline

Pick your city and school from the list. Add one row for each class you studied there, with the academic year, such as 2012 to 2013. If you changed schools, add a separate timeline for each one. Not sure about your years? Our guide to rebuilding your school timeline can help.

3. Meet your matches

When someone else has the same school, the same class and the same year, you both appear in each other's matches. A match tells you which class and which year you shared.

4. Start a conversation

Open the classroom chat with a match and send a message. If you are not sure what to say, read how to start a conversation with an old classmate.

Staying in control

  • You can edit or delete any timeline at any time.
  • Privacy settings let you decide about optional features such as marketing messages and analytics.
  • You can turn service notification emails on or off.
  • You can request an export of your data or the deletion of your account from the privacy settings page.

Is my school listed?

We keep a growing list of schools. If yours is missing, use the request option in the timeline form and we will add it.
